Plan your offsite

Not one place, several

Mount Kid is a mosaic: slopes, paths, wet ground, shelter, open views and quieter corners. A conversation that stalls in one part of the land often moves in another, which is part of why we walk rather than sit.

Where the Trails go

Routes are chosen on the day for the group and the conditions, then adjusted as we walk. Some run along the high open ground for perspective, others stay low and sheltered when the weather asks for it.

All weather by design

Somewhere to write it down

We work outdoors whenever possible, with simple working bases for shelter, notes, mapping and next steps. Thinking on the move, then a practical place to turn it into decisions.

A living system you think inside

Alongside the offsites, WildFuture is a long term regeneration project: rewilding, habitat restoration and nature friendly stewardship. For teams that adds something. You are thinking inside a real evolving system shaped by trade offs, time horizons and practical action, which is the same shape as the problem you brought.

Every season is a different room

Mist in spring, hard frost in January, long light in June. We plan the day to suit conditions and move between outdoors and workspace as needed, so the season shapes the walk rather than cancelling it.

Why outdoors, honestly

Research suggests nature may restore directed attention, and walking can support divergent thinking. We are not claiming the hill makes the decision. It changes the conditions, and the facilitation does the rest.

The Farmhouse at Gurrane

For teams who want more space away from the day to day, an overnight stay can be arranged at the WildFuture Farmhouse at Gurrane or with local accommodation partners.

Come and see it

The land can be experienced through a Strategy Offsite, a Thinking Trail, or an arranged visit. If you would rather walk it before you book anything, say so and we will set it up.
